True are a food and drink company with a goal of providing healthy food for people on the go.
The brief for True was simple, provide a brand to be vehicle for a company that sold their products through their own cafes and sandwich rounds to move onto the high street and become a competitor brand.
The branding for True was designed to be fresh, fun and bold. Characters for brand were developed to increase engagement with the brand and reflect the company’s personality. Brand guidelines were established to ensure consistent application of the brand from signage to packaging and menus to vehicle livery.
Packaging and Advertising
Using the colour guidelines and brand characters the packaging was designed around standard size specifications to reduce costs and ensure good environmental standards. Nutritional information was included and the design was intended to be desirable and eye-catching and still keeping the actual product visible to the consumer. Advertising and branding was applied across the whole of the company’s materials ensuring a uniform look and feel for the company.
