Catch the Spirit - Ultimate

Catch The Spirit

Frisbee kings Catch the Spirit run an online store selling Frisbees, providing discgolf training courses and run courses in schools. Obsessed with everything to do with flying discs they have a real passion for engaging people in the sport.

Catch the Spirit approached Foundry34 as they wanted to develop a number of sub-brands to really capture each of the three areas they work; Ultimate, Discgolf and Discsports for schools. They also needed to redevelop their ecommerce site and to bring a brand consistency across their advertising and branded products.

Branding

With a strong existing brand, the brand work Foundry34 was involved in consisted of developing three sub-brands Ultimate, Discgolf and Discsports for schools. The aim was to be able to connect with each of the three target markets and to demonstrate their expertise and knowledge in each area, as well as provide a more logical route to the products CTS sell in each category. Each sub-brand has its own identity and carries the core CTS branding allowing the brand to be promoted in isolation or alongside the other sub-brands.

Web Design and Development

After running an ecommerce site for a number of years, Catch the Spirit wanted to refresh the look of their online presence, but also gain more control over their product listings and operations of the site. The new website is split into two areas, knowledge and fresh content and the shop area. The sub-brands aid the user to navigate the site so for example they can look at hints and tips related to discgolf, then easily go to buy discgolf specific products.

The new website will be online soon.

Online Marketing and Advertising

Foundry34 have also worked with CTS on their whole range of branded products and advertising from t-shirts to signage, flyers, e-newsletters and more. Each item works to promote the Catch The Spirit umbrella brand as well as fit in with its own particular sub-brand constantly re-enforcing the Catch The Spirit brand values.
