<p>We have just had the packaging back from Mushroom and Co the ethical children’s toy retailer and have to say we are very pleased with the results. Foundry34 have been working on a complete rebrand for the company over the last few months and developed a wide range of branded material and digital work, including brand identity, packaging, presentation materials, advertising and ecommerce store. They have just returned from several trade shows and we think the 100% natural rubber, hand painted toys are going to go down very well. We will be getting more images of the work onto our folio pages over the coming weeks.</p>

Foundry34 have been appointed as digital agency by Michelin Star restaurant The Pony and Trap. Based in rural Bristol the restaurant is run by award winning chef Josh Eggleton. In 2003 he was successful in his quest to become the Gordon Ramsay college scholar, following his success in this coveted competition he has travelled the world working with some of the world&#8217;s finest chefs in some of the world&#8217;s most notable restaurants.<br />
Foundry34 will be working on a complete new web presence for the restaurant along with facilities for integrating and publishing social media. The aim is to maintain the simple, rustic aesthetic of a high quality country restaurant while integrating all of the mobile compatibility and social media that users expect. Watch this space for progress!</p>

Produced from 100% natural rubber with hand painted finishes the products are environmentally friendly and suited as gifts for babies and small children as teething or bath toys.<br />
Foundry34 will be producing a comprehensive brand identity and guidelines for the company as well as advertising, packaging, point of sale and web presence. We believe this company has a great product and we look forward to the challenge of bring the brand to life!</p>

<p>August sees the launch of management consultancy Ascend Twentyone’s new website design and branding. Foundry34 were approached by Director Mandy Sandhu to develop an umbrella brand for the company and sub brands for each of the company’s service areas; Strategic Management &amp; Planning, People Management, Business Development and Public Funding and projects</p>
<p>The brief was to present a professional, competent persona for the company yet maintain an approachable and clear message through the corporate communications and language.</p>
<p>After research and discussions and in negotiation with the client, Foundy34 designed a crisp minimal brand using a strong colour scheme to differentiate the service areas.</p>
<p>Once the core branding was established the look and feel was carried through to the website design and direct communications.</p>
<p>Results? A very happy client and a start-up business that instantly has the professional look and feel to compete with the established competition.</p>

A description from <a href="http://www.chipshopawards.com/">their website</a> explains: ‘The Chip Shop Awards is there to recognise that the best ideas don&#8217;t always fall within the rules. This is a worldwide advertising and design competition that has no rules.’</p>
<p>So it‘s basically an open-ended brief, which is far too tempting for us! You can find our entries below, mocking the iPhone’s versatility as there is an App for almost everything (even for dealing with classic villains such as Darth Vader), and Greggs’ hard-to-hide irresistableness even to celebrities such as Gordon Ramsey and Tiger Woods.</p>

<p>Just wanted to let people take a sneak preview of some of the brand work we’ve recently undertaken with Frisbee kings <a href="http://www.catchthespirit.co.uk" target="_blank">Catch The Spirit</a>. The guys at CTS run an online store selling Frisbees, providing discgolf training courses and run courses in schools. Obsessed with everything to do with flying discs they have a real passion for engaging kids in the sport. CTS approached us they wanted to develop a number of sub-brands to really capture each of the three areas they work; Ultimate, Discgolf and Discsports for schools. The new Ultimate sub-brand is shown here. A little bit 70s, a little bit retro and definitely cool. We hope to show some more samples as they develop.</p>

One of our recent great success stories has been NE8 Castings. Launched only this year, they seem to be able to do no wrong with floods of visitors to the site and a host of new model registrations and bookings. Like most new start ups there have been unexpected changes the services they provide, one area the company didn’t initially even list was for promotions yet this has turned out to be the highest growth area of the business. For us, we like to see any of our clients do well. Many start-ups we talk to are reluctant to invest in their company image or website, opting to take the cheapest route. Success stories such as NE8 show it is worth investing; the brand image is still fresh and recognisable, the Content Management System works even with huge growth in the size of the site and the Search Engine Optimisation is still driving visitors to the site. End result- a thriving company -not an easy thing to say in the current climate!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are pleased to announce that we have been appointed to redevelop the branding, communications and website for a national charity; NADA UK (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association).  NADA UK train staff from substance misuse services throughout the UK in the five-point ear acupuncture protocol, to enable them to provide these treatments to clients free at the point of access. The services are used to treat acute and prolonged withdrawal as well as relapse prevention.</p>
<p>We have been tasked to rebrand the organisation to allow the charity to communicate better with those they train and deliver their services to. The website will be built using a comprehensive Content Management System to allow the charity to provide regular updates, training dates seminars and events.</p>

<p>Not every job has to be big to be rewarding and not all advertising is about selling products. Foundry34 recently worked on the Safer Clubbing campaign with two UK charities- Lifeline and Turning Point. The brief was simple- design a set of club flyers and posters to be distributed throughout Newcastle giving harm minimisation messages for those clubbers using or tempted to use drugs. We were more than happy to help, the two organisations clearly very experienced in this area providing us with the relevant content leaving Foundry34 to work on some back to basics graphic design; appropriate visuals and clearly presented information.</p>
