You may not have heard but new EU legislation has recently been passed regarding the use of cookies on websites. UK law now requires you to ask your visitors’ permission before putting cookies on their computer for the first time. A cookie is a simple file that a website saves onto the user’s computer to track certain information – for example: login information, Google Analytics, shopping basket contents etc.
