2010 sees the launch of the Ideal Bathroom Furniture ecommerce site. Having operated an ebay store previously the company felt that it was the right time to develop their online presence and have an online store that was better suited to their customers and displayed their products in a much more high quality way. Foundry34 worked with Ideal to develop their site to allow customers to view and buy their products online, and develop a content management system to allow them to keep their products and catalogoues updated. Features such as ‘featured products’ and discount codes gives Ideal a much improved online service to offer their customers, while they are free to add as many detailed images of the products as they choose and control aspects such as shipping rates. The biggest task was to ensure the site included lots of clever functions and details but remained easy to use for the client team. We think we can say that we have achieved it.
