With a clearly defined brand identity and personality blackswan approached Foundry34 to develop their online presence.
Web Development and Design
Blackswan had a vision of how they should develop their online presence beyond a simple brochure style listing of their services. They required a framework to add their own content, fresh ideas, comment, news and insight by their contributors and key personnel. The goal was not only to provide information but to become a central hub of ideas, where content could be easily shared. The site was built around a comprehensive Content Management System. Foundry34 worked in close conjunction with the blackswan team to ensure the site had the right look and feel, to make sure navigation was simple and intuitive for the user as well as easy to update for the departments that would be adding content on a regular basis. Visually the site was controlled by establishing a grid system, uniform images sizes and colour coded sections.
Animation
Within days of completing the blackswan website, blackswan asked Foundry34 to develop a custom animation for a joint project with icubed. After developing concepts for the movie which involved a film sequence and a 3d animation Foundry34 developed the sequence and made it production ready in short space of time. Recently showcased at the recent event in Ireland the movie has proved to be a very adaptable promotional tool for blackswan.
