Advance Fire and Security Systems are a fire and security firm with offices in the North East and North West of the UK. Established little over two years ago, the company has achieved huge growth in a short space of time, winning key contracts with well known companies such as Sainsburys and Pagebet
Foundry34 have worked with Advance from the very early stages, helping them to develop their brand identity, advertising and online presence. Director Martin Brown summed it up for us ‘there is very little that we don’t know about the installation and maintenance of fire, security, intruder or CCTV systems but at the end of the day it is about understanding customers- we needed an identity that would help us to instil confidence in our company.’
The challenge for the Advance brand was to make a highly recognisable brand identity that communicated the expertise and professionalism of the company. Like many other companies Advance wanted to build in reference to the products and services they offer. Rather than developing sub-brands the solution was to include colour coding than was incorporated in the main company logo and carried through to the four key service areas. This branding was kept consistent with style guidelines and followed through all area of the company from uniforms to vehicle livery, alarm panels, stationery packs, report books and more. Managing all of these customer touch-points has allowed Advance to make themselves highly visible in a very competitive market.
Web Development and Online Marketing
Advance required a site that could showcase their products and services and allows them to increase awareness of their company. Foundry34 developed two sites, a main site targeted at the whole of the customer base including commercial and residential customers, with a mini-site dedicated to domestic security. This was backed up with a comprehensive programme of SEO, this has resulted in front page and top results for many of Advance’s key search terms.
